1. Creating Optical fiber infrastructure under stage-2 of BharatNet Phase II in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
   The project involves the creation of optical fiber infrastructure under Stage-2 (Part-1) of BharatNet Phase II in Andhra Pradesh, a flagship initiative of the Government of India under the Digital India program aimed at providing affordable, high-speed broadband connectivity to all Gram Panchayats (GPs). By extending digital access from Mandal to village level, the project supports socio-economic development through improved connectivity for households, schools, government institutions, and rural communities. BharatNet Phase II in Andhra Pradesh is designed to connect 11,254 GPs across 608 mandals using approximately 55,000 km of aerial optical fiber, significantly deepening internet penetration in rural areas. HUDCO is supporting the implementation through a loan of ₹150 Crore across Phase 1 and Phase 2, enabling timely development of this critical digital infrastructure.
