    MahaGenco has availed financial assistance of ₹4,238.68 Crore from HUDCO for implementing feeder-level solarisation projects under the Mukhya Mantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0 across various districts of Maharashtra. This initiative aims to provide reliable daytime electricity to agricultural consumers by integrating dedicated solar energy generation into the rural power network, thereby reducing dependence on conventional energy sources. The project plays a vital role in empowering farmers through assured supply, lowering operational costs for agriculture, and contributing to the state’s clean-energy transition. HUDCO’s financial support enables large-scale creation of renewable energy infrastructure, strengthens rural energy security, and reinforces its broader commitment to accelerating India’s green growth and sustainable infrastructure development agenda.
  2. Term loan for 400 MWAC Grid Connected Ground Mounted Solar PV Renewable Energy Bundling Project (Phase-I) in Maharashtra
    A term loan of ₹1,700 Crore has been extended for the 400 MWAC grid-connected, ground-mounted Solar PV Renewable Energy Bundling Project (Phase-I) in Maharashtra, a key initiative to substantially enhance the state’s renewable power capacity. The project will accelerate clean-energy generation, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and contribute to India’s national targets for large-scale renewable integration. By supporting this initiative, HUDCO is strengthening the green energy ecosystem, enabling sustainable grid operations, and advancing the transition toward a low-carbon economy. This intervention reflects HUDCO’s broader commitment to financing transformational infrastructure that delivers long-term environmental and socio-economic benefits across the country.
  3. Term loan for the installation of 1.1 kW and above capacity rooftop solar plants at individual residential households under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
    HUDCO has sanctioned a total loan of ₹6,426 Crore to Rajasthan’s three DISCOMs i.e; JdVVNL, AVVNL, and JVVNL- for the installation of 1.1 kW and above rooftop solar systems at individual residential households under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. This initiative supports the Government of Rajasthan’s Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana, which enhances consumer benefits by increasing free electricity entitlement from 100 to 150 units per month through widespread adoption of rooftop solar power. Targeting 37.80 lakh residential consumers, the programme provides both Central Financial Assistance of ₹33,000 per system and State Financial Support of ₹17,000 per system, with HUDCO financing the state’s share to enable seamless implementation. The project significantly expands decentralized renewable energy capacity, reduces household electricity expenditure, and strengthens energy access across Rajasthan. By financing a programme of this scale, HUDCO reinforces its role as a key enabler of India’s clean energy transition and supports national goals of sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient infrastructure development.
  4. Term Loan for Development of 1000 MW (4 x 250 MW) Pakal Dul Hydro Electric (H.E) Project on the River Marusudar in District Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir.
    HUDCO has extended a term loan of ₹1,073.754 Crore for the development of the 1,000 MW (4 × 250 MW) Pakal Dul Hydro Electric Project on the Marusudar River in District Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir. Recognized as a project of national importance, Pakal Dul is pivotal for enhancing India’s renewable energy capacity, improving grid stability, and strengthening power availability in the northern region. The project will also catalyze economic development in J&K through job creation, improved infrastructure, and long-term socio-economic benefits for local communities. HUDCO’s financial support underscores its commitment to advancing strategic national infrastructure and promoting sustainable, clean energy generation across the country.
