HUDCO has done many Landscape projects for the Greening of cities of cultural significance, development of Parks for vibrant communities, revival of heritage areas and pilgrim tourism. Significant projects are the Landscape Planning and Design of Pilgrim and Cultural Centre at Solophuk Sikkim, Riverfront Development Plan for Ghats at Haridwar and Rishikesh, Landscape of Access path to temples such as Shore temple, Mahabalipuram and Somnath Temple, Landscaping of Area in front of Shore Temple, Arjunas Penance, Dolotsava Mandapa Temple, Craft Centre and Parking Node, Five Rathas, Mahabalipuram; Shopping and parking node at Ajanta and Bodhgaya; Environmental Improvement around Qutub complex, Manikarnika Ghat at Varanasi and Somnath temple precincts, Meditation park Bodhgaya, Front lawns of Red Fort. The Landscaping and Beachfront development of Muttom, Thekkuruchi and Sunset Point Beachfronts was taken up.

Renovation and beautification of the Botanical Garden of Puducherry

HUDCO won competitive bid and was awarded the landscape work for renovation and beautification of the botanical garden of Puducherry that was established by the French in 1826 and was severely damaged by the cyclone Thane in 2012. The renovation and beautification work taken up by HUDCO has enhanced the recreational cum educational values of the garden by introducing various elements and landscape features within the existing layout in order to attract the visitors to the world of plants and subsequently to impart knowledge and raise a consciousness of plant conservation.
