By substituting a portion of the State Government’s share, HUDCO’s timely financial support ensures uninterrupted project execution and accelerates the delivery of functional household tap connections in both urban and rural areas. These projects play a vital role in strengthening drinking water security, improving public health outcomes, and enhancing quality of life for lakhs of households. Term Loan for Godavari Drinking Water Supply Project (Phase-II)
Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has availed financial assistance of ₹2,224 Crore from HUDCO for the Godavari Drinking Water Supply Project Phase-II, a critical initiative aimed at substantially augmenting Hyderabad’s potable water supply to meet the city’s rapidly growing demand. The project shall be developed under Hybrid Annuity Model with participation of private player also. The project will enhance the reliability and resilience of the metropolitan water system, support future urban expansion, and ensure long-term water security for millions of residents. By enabling the timely execution of this large-scale urban utility project, HUDCO continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening essential public infrastructure, improving quality of life, and supporting sustainable urban development across major Indian cities.

Rajasthan Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation (RWSSC) has secured financial assistance of ₹5,000 Crore from HUDCO for implementing a wide range of water supply schemes under Jal Jeevan Mission (Phase III). HUDCO is providing ₹822.22 Crore as gap funding to the Maharashtra Urban Infrastructure Fund (MUIF) for the augmentation of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Water Supply Project under the AMRUT 2.0 mission.
